The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking applicants for a full-time Field Placement, Certification, and Assessment Coordinator (FCA) for our Education program. The Field Placement, Certification, and Assessment Coordinator (FCA) coordinates and manages all field experience placements for practicums, advanced field experiences, and student teaching for all UMA’s teacher preparation programs. The FCA will also serve as the University’s certification coordinator and liaison to the Maine Department of Education (MDOE) by conveying certification recommendations for instate and out-of-state teacher preparation program graduates. This position will collaborate closely with faculty, students, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure the successful execution of field experiences and certification procedures.

Salary: The hiring salary range for this position is in the low to mid-50s and commensurate with training, education, and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.
