The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Cybersecurity Program Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for managing the Maine Cyber Range and the accompanying software and coordinating the functions of the Cyber Range with the academic Cybersecurity program. The Cybersecurity Program Coordinator assures compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing cybersecurity, and our National Security Agency recognition.

Salary: The hiring salary range for this position is in the low to mid-50s and is commensurate with training, education, and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment to solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Fluency with Cybersecurity and office management software. Familiarity with technology hardware and digital imaging.
  • Fluency with technology security concepts.
  • Understanding of strategic development and business processes.
  • Fluency in research methods and metadata.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of administrative experience.
  • Recent successful experience in the Cybersecurity field.

Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, or master’s degree in process
  • Five to seven years of administrative experience
