The University of Maine at Farmington (UMF) is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our admissions team as an Admissions Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in the enrollment process, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective students and supporting the overall admissions operations. The Admissions Specialist educates incoming first-year and transfer students, as well as families and counselors, about the University of Maine at Farmington and the college selection, application, and admissions process through customer service and front-end service work. This position will oversee the daily operations of the office, managing email and phone, as well as scheduling for the Admissions Office and visitors. This includes regularly scheduled visits, walk-ins, school group visits, special events, etc. The position may require extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during various periods. This is a full-time (40-hour work week), fiscal year position.
