Statement of the Job
The Program Assistant will support activities to grow revenue-generating activities around the use of nanocellulose in art, to include material distribution, identification of grant opportunities and other events to promote the use of nanocellulose in art.
This is a six month, part-time, temporary position with a 20 hour / week schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
WORK SCHEDULE : Normal University of Maine business hours are Monday through Friday 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. This part-time, temporary position is expected to work up to 20 hours per week at the discretion of the supervisor.
The employee shall establish regular office hours and in consultation with the supervisor, adjust the work schedule as appropriate.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : Work may be performed in a laboratory, classroom, office or remote field site. Workload priorities may need to be shifted and schedules changed to meet multiple deadlines.
