University of Kentucky is Hiring a Vascular Technical Manager/UKHC Near Lexington, KY

Job Summary

The Vascular Technical Manager will be responsible for ensuring the department provides a high standard of care, and that patient care providers meet hospital and any applicable regulatory standards. Also maintains current lab policy and procedure manuals; incorporates results of Quality Assurance program into aspects of continuing education for providers of care; and serves on various committees related to the provision of patient care. Experience as a Vascular Lab supervisor and/or prior management experience preferred.

Internal Employee Being Considered (IEBC)

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a current RVT certification.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience

Completion of sonography program; at least three years of paid, full time vascular experience; previous vascular lab supervisory or management experience; and ARDMS and/or RVT certification preferred
