Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include: Occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 25lbs; regularly standing or walking with objects 10-25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); utilizing mouse, keyboard, and phone for portions of the day. Ability to travel to various locations on and off-campus for meetings.
Depending on performane, this opportunity may lead into a regular staff position as there is a vacancy.
Shift
Primarily days (i.e. Monday – Friday, 8a-5p, 40 hours per week), with the possibility of being asked to work evenings and/or weekends.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintenance, support and implementation of networking and infrastructure systems managed by University of Kentucky, Information Technology Services, Networking and Infrastructure. This includes network devices, security devices, and all supporting systems including monitoring and logging systems. This position supports functions critical to the operation of the University.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Windows and Office Suite. Customer service experience.

Bachelor’s Degree / 1 year of paid network experience, or the equivalent
