• Good written and oral communication skills (written skills will be examined via letter of interest; oral skills will be evaluated during personal interviews).
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.), as evidenced in application materials.
• Demonstrated history of being punctual (keeping deadlines, and set expectations) as indicated in application materials
• Demonstrated history of proper handling of confidential materials, shown in application materials.
• Familiarity with scanning of documents, as shown in application materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as described in application materials.
• During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).

• Federal Work Study funds as part of his/her financial aid package during the academic year.
• Past work experience demonstrating the ability to listen to instructions, learn quickly, practicing good judgment and a willingness to work independently.
• Past work experience demonstrating the ability to maintain an assigned schedule.
• Past work experience in a customer facing setting.
• Past work experience with a university or office type setting.
• Experience with photo and video editing software such as Photoshop or Adobe Elements.
