The mission of this campus matches that of the other two KUMC locations with additional emphasis on rural health care. Our students are primarily from rural venues. Because of its size, the students get in depth education from experts in foundational and clinical sciences with a much-reduced faculty to student ratio often as low as 1:2. Students perform well on standardized exams and consistently rank highly on the NBME Step 2 exam.
