Job Description Summary:
Enter, monitor and maintain clinical trial foundational information stored in the Velos system. Work collaboratively with Clinical Trial Administration project development, study teams, and clinical trial post award in the collection and entry of required study information.
Work modality: This position will have a hybrid work arrangement. Incumbent will work remotely and on campus based on a set departmental schedule.
Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree in accounting, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience on a year to year basis.
Work Experience: Two years related experience in finance or business-related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related field.
Work Experience:
Prior experience working with multi-specialty physician groups.
Prior budgetary experience.
One to three years prior work experience in a medical environment.
Scientific, nursing or legal background and/or training.
Skills:
Familiarity with university policies and procedures or similar structure.
Ability to analyze and interpret legal contracts/document.
Job Duties Outlined
The Clinical Trials Finance Administrator is responsible for the development, entry, monitoring, and maintenance of clinical trial foundational information stored in the Velos system.
Work collaboratively with Clinical Trial Administration project development, study teams, and clinical trial post-award in the collection and entry of required study information.
Coordinate, gather required documents, extract critical elements to create records, and update Velos with the information necessary to establish the required administrative and study calendars and charge master records to facilitate study management, billing, and collections.
Provide teams with details of trial specific information at trial activation.
Performed task and job duties timely and accurately.
Review any amendments and correction requests received and make appropriate revisions in the Velos system in a timely and accurate manner.
Work collaboratively with the budget team, clinical trial finance team, study team and sponsors.
Participate in special projects as needed such as year-end closing.
Additional duties as may be assigned.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
