The Departmentof Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacyis seeking a Clinical Instructor/Clinical Pharmacist to join the Ambulatory PharmacyServices unit. The practice site for this pharmacist position is in theOncology Clinic Pharmacy located in the Outpatient Care Center (OCC) of UIHealth. The Oncology Clinic Pharmacy provides comprehensive services to theCancer Center's oncology clinic patients. The pharmacy is open Monday throughFriday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with shifts varying based on operational needs. Clinical Pharmacist responsibilities include providingpharmaceutical care (distribution and clinical) for patients seen at the UIHealth Oncology Clinic and other clinics. Responsibilities also includeverifying and filling medication orders, supervising the preparation ofintravenous therapies (including chemotherapy), pharmacy staff development; andcoordinating and conducting quality initiatives. Clinical Instructorresponsibilities of theposition include the provision of didactic and clinical experientialteaching/training in the College of Pharmacys Doctor of Pharmacy Program.
