Position Summary
The SCB Pharmacy is open to serve its patients Monday through Saturday. This pharmacy is looking for a full-time operational staff pharmacist who is a team players that possess strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, and are adaptable to a changing work environment. The successful candidate must also possess excellent time management and organizational skills and be committed to providing excellent patient care. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the prescription verification process is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Instructor responsibilities of the position include the provision of didactic and clinical experiential teaching/training in the College of Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy Program.

Clinical Pharmacist responsibilities include:_x000d_• Staffing to support day-to-day pharmacy operations, clinical review and final verification of prescriptions as well as offering clinical pharmacy services, and participating in positive outcomes in collaboration with the medical providers of UI Health_x000d_• Working with Meds-to-Beds/Discharge and Medication Assistance Program services _x000d_• Evaluating medication orders for accuracy, contraindications, and drug interactions_x000d_• Ensuring medications are prepared in a safe manner_x000d_• Responding to drug information requests from providers and providing high-quality medication counseling_x000d_• Maintaining medication inventory levels_x000d_• Supporting an organized pharmacy staff workflow _x000d_• Administering immunizations_x000d_• Communicating with UI Health providers and patients regarding prescription issues_x000d_• As assigned, completing projects to ensure complex operational activities are met in a timely and efficient manner_x000d_
