Position Summary:
Video Control Room Operators record University of Idaho lectures using multi-camera studio equipment and software for online course delivery. Additional department support tasks may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work either Monday, Wednesday, Friday shifts; or Tuesday, Thursday shifts; or both.
Experience demonstrating strong work ethic and the ability to consistently and dependably work a set schedule.
Experience following detailed directions and perform the duties of the position independently.
Experience with verbal and written communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a university/college setting.
Experience with interpersonal skills working with diverse group of people.
Experience either personal or professional operating of audio, video, or television recording equipment.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Sitting in a darkened room for long periods of time.
Ability to lift, carry and/or otherwise move objects weighing up to 20 pounds, push a cart weighing 75 pounds between two buildings, climb a ladder, and retrieve heavy objects that are above the head.
