Position Summary:
Reporting to the Printing Services Coordinator the Campus Copy and Print Center Manager will direct, coordinate, and promote copy center services and satellite operations; supervise and train staff in programming, operating, and maintaining advanced reprographic, bindery, and computer equipment in the ISUB Copy and Print Center. They will be responsible for reviewing job tickets, charge out departments, and be proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
The incumbent will work closely with the Creative Services Unit during rush times to help on the production floor, provide customer service and able to handle stressful situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience operation and maintaining advanced high-volume copiers and large format printing equipment.
  • 1 years experience billing and pricing jobs, ordering supplies, and preparing print orders.
  • Experience using desk-top publishing and graphics software; using photo, editing, word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Experience determining paper weights, types, and grades.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining financial reports and records.
  • Experience providing customer service experience and making printing suggestions.
  • Experience delegating and leading work of others.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience and knowledgeable in using computers for file transfer and digital printing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to do math: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Experience following written and oral instructions.
  • Experience operating and maintaining high volume digital and analog copiers, and bindery equipment.
  • Experience organizing job orders and maintaining production records.
  • Experience in printing material using a variety of paper stocks and weights.
  • Experience working in high volume office with regular interruptions and changing priorities.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
  • Ability to lift, carry and/or other wise move material up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to distinguish colors, weights and textures such as with various paper stocks.
