University of Hartford Director, International Admissions Job Description Assumes responsibility for planning, executing and evaluating a worldwide recruitment program of international students. Works closely with Marketing and Communication to insure that mail and messaging campaigns are timely and relevant to the needs of incoming international students. Travels locally and internationally to promote the University of Hartford to international students. Continually monitors updates to Slate and Banner to maximize their effectiveness to the review and evaluation process. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students. Description of Key Responsibility: Establishes, cultivates and maintains effective relationships with student advisors. Regularly visits to update the progress and performance of sponsored students from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the Emirates. Assists with the development and maintenance of University agreements University partners. Works to continue the development of International Alumni recruitment network. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 35% Description of Key Responsibility: Assumes responsibility for meeting qualitative and quantitative enrollment goals through effective application generation, applicant communication strategies, customer service management, decision-modeling, and effective application pool management. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 30% Description of Key Responsibility: Work closely with the International Center to ensure proper processing of all immigration and I-20 documents. Partner with other campus constituencies who assist current international students. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 20% Description of Key Responsibility: Conducts training for overseas representatives and provides language for communications for prospective international students. Ensures documents for overseas representatives are inclusive and provide appropriate details and assistance for their travels and recruitment efforts.
