Position Summary | This position is responsible for professional work that involves a high-level of detail and administrative oversight of the approval processes related to Experiential Learning, Institutional Competency System and Approval Process. The online Institutional Competencies system includes multiple levels of approval and a workflow process. The person in this position is responsible for managing the users including, providing instruction and guidance on the use of the system. In addition, this position is responsible for the facilitation of the faculty governance approval process associated with the system. The position is also responsible for oversight of the development, maintenance, and distribution of a Comprehensive Learner Record. The employee is needed to perform the tasks associated with the position with a high-level of autonomy, independence, and discretion to ensure the effectiveness of any task or service within the area of assignment. As the primary point person for these approval processes, the employee manages the proposal review process and provides guidance to schools and colleges on proposal submissions. This position will ensure proposals are compliant with UGA, USG, and SACSCOC policies and procedures. |
