Position Summary | The position is based at the Terry Executive Education Center (TEEC) in Atlanta, located at 3475 Lenox Rd NE, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30326 . The Assistant Director of Career Operations will play a critical role in ensuring the goals for the success of Executive, Professional, and Online MBA students and the EMBA, PMBA, and OMBA programs. The Assistant Director provides essential analysis on the office's impact and graduates' outcomes in order to shape strategy and inform prospective students, leads the execution of key office priorities, and supports other initiatives through effective communications and project management. The Assistant Director will work directly with staff, students, alumni, and corporate contacts toward the office's goal of ensuring that Executive, Professional, and Online MBA students and alumni are able to accomplish the career transitions that they came to the program intending to achieve. Delivery of services will evolve with corporate standards, and advice and practices will keep pace with the talent marketplace as it changes. The Assistant Director is a core participant in the creation and delivery of a comprehensive career program for approximately 500 students in the Executive, Professional and Online MBA programs. These students have a wide range of experience (from 2 years to 30 years) across a wide range of career backgrounds; goals that include career acceleration (staying in current industry and function), switching (changing industry, function, or both), and exploring (investigating whether to accelerate or switch); individualized timelines; and demanding schedules. The career program will therefore deliver flexible solutions to meet these needs, including career education / best practices and coaching. |
