Job Summary:
The Faculty Affairs Coordinator will lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of faculty and staff in the Department of Radiology. Responsibilities include posting open positions on CU Careers and external websites; arranging zoom and in person interviews, assisting with candidate travel and reimbursements; credentialing clinical faculty.
Additionally, the position will be responsible for faculty promotions and tenure support. This requires keeping the timeline of midcourse review and promotion procedures moving forward. This position will report directly to the Manager of Physician Services.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, organized, and willing and able to learn new processes quickly and adapt to the ever-changing healthcare landscape. This role will serve as the face of the department and, in almost every case, will make the first impression for potential new faculty physicians and staff. In this role you must be comfortable speaking to people you have never met before and able to exercise social grace during these important interactions.
