Venture Partners is a key catalyst for innovation with a mission to facilitate the transfer of breakthrough inventions from the University to society through exciting, fast-paced, and multidisciplinary work. Set in the heart of our university’s ambitious, innovative community of scholars and learners, Venture Partners brings the university's world-class researchers together with the business, startup, and entrepreneurial communities to translate groundbreaking solutions into economic and social impact.

• The Embark deep tech startup creator pairs Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) with university technology to launch and accelerate new startup companies.
• The Program Manager works closely with Venture Partners at CU Boulder staff to run all aspects of Embark, including solicitation of applications for EIR positions, running a 2-month competitive selection process, onboarding 5-10 EIRs, regular EIR meetings, assistance with matching EIRs to various university and ecosystem startup resources and programs.

This is a temporary, part-time position starting now through February 29, 2025, anticipated to work 15 hours per week.

$41.02 per hour.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, science, engineering, or a degree from an accredited institution in any field with experience relevant to entrepreneurship and commercialization.
• 3 years of professional experience with a focus on innovation, professional training, entrepreneurship, startups, and/or technology transfer.

At least 3 years’ experience in each of the following areas:

• Technology transfer or startups.
• Proven success working within or directly with higher education.
• Knowledge of and connections into the Boulder/Denver entrepreneurship community.
