Job Summary:

The University of Colorado Denver - Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking applications for a Lead County Learning Coordinator. This Full-Time Faculty position that will support the Kempe Center for the Prevention of Child abuse and Neglect. Kempe is a world leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. We bring together leading research and treatment professionals, policy makers and community members to make sure every child has the opportunity to develop and grow in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assumes ownership for county success, including establishing, building and maintaining county relationships across levels and professional disciplines.
  • Ensures project representation and responsiveness in a manner that anticipates customer needs and cultivates county relationships.
  • Supervises one to two county learning coordinator positions including accounting for staff recruitment, on-boarding, assessing, and responding to needs, accountability for success, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Facilitate learning experiences in-person or via a virtual platform as assigned, in a manner that is culturally responsive and honoring of adult learning styles.
  • Assists in recruiting and maintaining relationships with contract facilitators and county connection members within assigned counties.
  • Collaborates with other lead county learning coordinators and the senior delivery manager for overall success of the delivery team.
  • Facilitates County Connection Meetings (CCM) and ensure the needs of the assigned counties are known and communicated with project leadership.
  • Conducts CQI review on all project and course materials as needed and communicate recommended changes with project leadership.
  • Assumes responsibility of and is responsible for authoring and overseeing ongoing development and CQI adaptations for Fundamentals courses and corresponding materials, to ensure alignment with current best practices, and most innovative liberating learning methods.
  • Generates and communicate ideas, innovations, and suggest topics for future design, delivery, and development.
  • Research scholarly literature using evaluative data.
  • Assess and research peer-reviewed literature and other foundational resources to guide curricula subject matter.
  • Autonomously manages other project products and deliverables as assigned.

Work Location:

Remote - this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Education, Behavioral or Social Science, other related field required OR a bachelor's degree in one of the above fields plus 5 years' experience training child welfare professionals in the state of Colorado.
  • 2-4 years' experience in direct child welfare practice within the state of Colorado.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a learning facilitator.

Condition of Employment:

  • Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
  • Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience effectively facilitating learners across professional levels (caseworkers, supervisors, managers, and directors).
  • Demonstrated ability to model culturally inclusive interactions and communication skills in cross-cultural situations.
  • Completion of a professional coach training program.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory; and ability to energetically engage adult audiences in learning conversations, and practical experiences.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$75,000-$80,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
