The University of Central Arkansas Clinical Instructor I is responsible for teaching, research and service. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position is non-tenure track and a nine-month appointment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The faculty member will provide instruction in health sciences baccalaureate programs, engage in scholarship/practice activities, and participate in service activities at the institutional and professional level.

Use a variety of strategies to assess and evaluate student learning. Assist with formulating program outcomes and designing curricula that reflect contemporary health care trends.

Required Education and/or Experience
The formal education of a Master’s degree required.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
It is preferred that the candidate has: 1) Educational preparation as a health sciences educator or experience teaching at the baccalaureate level. 2) Experience with learning management systems and/or online teaching at the baccalaureate or higher degree.
License(s)/Certifications (Required or Preferred)
CHES preferred: CHES eligible required.
If eligible but not CHES currently, must receive certification within a year of hire
