Full TimeVariable8 Hours Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the UCSF Senior Security Guard will provide proactive crime prevention patrol of all Medical Center Facilities and safety surveillance for all staff, patients, and guests. All Officers will monitor activities to ensure compliance with stated policies and program services. Each Guard will be assigned specific POST duties and understand, assist, and respond to requests for security assistance. There are POST orders and policies and procedures for areas of responsibility. There are special projects and events, the Guard will comply with other duties as assigned.

• One or more years of Security experience
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Valid Guard Card from California Consumer Services
• Excellent communication and writing skills – ability to write and read reports
• Computer skills to include experience using Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook & Excel
• The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations• Associate's (AA or AS) Degree
• Two or more years of security experience• Valid California Driver’s License
• Valid Guard Card - California Consumer Services
