University at Buffalo is Hiring a Research Technician II, Psychology Near Buffalo, NY
Incumbent will be an employee of The Research Foundation of SUNY in a grant-supported position. Incumbent will be assigned to the UB Parent Teen Talk Study, under the supervision of Dr. Craig Colder, Principal Investigator, and Dawn Keough, Project Coordinator. We are looking for someone who is extremely detail oriented, well organized and with good technical skills and interviewing skills. Incumbent should be comfortable working with Excel and Word or more general spreadsheets and word processing. Incumbent will be responsible for:

Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Administering computer assisted interviews to adults and adolescents regarding alcohol and drug use and other sensitive information.
- Recruit participants by phone & schedule appointments
- Miscellaneous office duties (preparing mailers, copying, filing, database entry, etc.)
- Maintaining online survey
- Maintaining Project Website

Minimum Qualifications
2 years experience interfacing with study participants in an academic research setting (face-to-face interviewing and scheduling participants for appointments).
Preferred Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in Social Sciences
- Survey management experience
- Telephone recruiting experience

Salary Range
$19,000
