Summary of Job Duties:The Radiology Nurse will provide direct patient care as a RN in Interventional Radiology. This professional nursing role will require the ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff. Requires the ability to effectively work with patient referral sources, facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, and provide patient education on complex conditions. The Radiology Nurse will work with the individual patient, their families, and providers of care to develop and implement individual health plans within Prep and Recovery and Interventional Radiology.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
- Valid RN License
- Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience.
- ACLS, BLS and National Certification
- 1 year experience in ICU or ED

Additional Information:Interventional Radiology:- In coordination with physician provide moderate sedation for interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs, level of consciousness and pain during moderate sedation and in coordination with physician intervene as appropriate using close loop communication.
- Assist Anesthesia with patient care during procedures.
- Communicates clearly and concisely with all member of the patient care team.
- Assist physician/radiology technologist with supplies during procedures, scrubbing in to cases as needed.
- Provide thorough procedure report to recovery nurse.
