Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least five years of progressive experience in the early childhood field
Experience or background working with state agencies and other early childhood partner organizations
Prior supervisory or leadership experience
Progressive experience delivering academic presentations at national, regional, and state levels and publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals
Demonstrated experience with project management
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience managing a budget and ability to project expenses, set spending limits, and create a tracking system
Prior experience/knowledge of Early Care and Education Projects
Knowledge of LENA (Language ENvironment Analysis) and the AR Resource Connections website
Knowledge of early childhood shared resources and their platforms
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Advanced knowledge of early childhood education and workforce development
Advanced knowledge of the Arkansas early childhood systems and the rules and regulations that govern each system
Advanced communication skills (written and spoken) and the ability to advise, edit, and analyze documents, reports, and correspondence
Skilled in interpersonal relationships and flexible in working with internal and external partners
Ability to advise in all steps of budget management in terms of assigned projects
Strong project management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from start to finish
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data to inform project quality improvement efforts
Ability to manage time, information, and resources effectively
