Summary of Job Duties:Come join our family of therapy providers at UAMS! The Outpatient Physical Therapist provides an individualized evaluation, during which the client, family/caregiver, and physical therapist determine the patient's goals, customize interventions to optimize the person's ability to perform functional activities, and continuously assess progress towards goals to ensure goals are being met and/or to modify the intervention plan based on the patient's needs and skills. Functional outcomes data is completed through collection of best practice data via patient questionnaires, performance measures, and documented treatment interventions.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy PLUS (2) two years of experience in Physical Therapy
Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy license or eligible to apply for licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree OR Doctoratein Physical Therapy
Outpatient therapy experience with emphasis orthopaedics & neuro-degenerative conditions
OCS, CSCS, DN Certified

Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive examination of patients using appropriate tests/measures, completes the evaluation, and formulates an individualized plan of care
Provides evidence based quality patient treatments and monitors patient for physiological status during sessions. Provides individualized patient
Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and education sessions and submits accurate charges according to regulatory policies.
