Position Summary:
Are you a currently enrolled student looking to add professional work experience that compliments your academic career to your resume? The College of Natural Science and Mathematics promotes students' self-motivation to excel and guides them towards professional careers and public service in an environment of life-long learning. CNSM is seeking UAF students to fill a variety of positions such as Office/administrative assistants, paper graders, tutors, course assistants & lab assistants.Duties:
HS diploma or equivalent.
These positions are usually for 1 semester or 1 academic year, with the possibility of returning in subsequent years. Salary varies by position with most in the range of $15 - $18/hr

The university system started as the Alaska Agricultural College and School of Mines in Fairbanks, later renamed the University of Alaska. That first year, the campus was a single two-story frame building and had just six students. The school was renamed the University of Alaska in 1935. In 1954, Anchorage Community College (now known as the University of Alaska Anchorage) was incorporated into the University of Alaska.
