Job Description:

The Accountant I performs a variety of basic or routine assignments requiring application of standard procedures under close supervision. Assists with the development of department budgets and supports productivity reporting system. Assists with the development and reporting of statistical data along with analysis for annual cost report and surveys.

5. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

8. Knowledge of healthcare and budgeting preferred.

Work Experience:

One year of experience in accounting preferred.

License/Registration/Certification:

None.

Education and Training:

Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field required;

May consider candidate working towards the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in related field.

May consider candidate with an Associate’s degree in a finance related field with a minimum of three years of related experience in accounting.
