University Internal Medicine and Diabetes Associates is Hiring a Full Time Medical Assistant- Float Near St. Louis, MO
- Rooms patients in a timely manner; obtains patient history; documentation in the patient's record; obtains vital signs.
- Performs clinical skills such as point of care testing, injections, electrocardiography.
- Addresses patient calls; triaging calls; relaying provider messages; refilling medications; communication through patient portal.
- Clean, stock and prepare exam rooms for patients.
- Maintains accurate and prompt charting; enters orders; processes prior authorizations and referrals; appointment scheduling.
- Registers and check in patients and collection of applicable copays/balances.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the physician or manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
