Description

Processses specimens for laboratory testing at a basic level. Performs data entry. Formal training from an accredited phlebotomy school, phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

Education / Expertise : High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT) :

Certification as a phlebotomist preferred.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, telephone skills, and demonstrate a caring and professional attitude. Medical Terminology

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge : Computer data entry, laboratory processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and phlebotomy experience preferred

Shift : 2nd Shift - Every other weekend. 20hrs / wk
