9 Smythe is a 37-bed telemetry unit specializing in observation patients. Because the expectation is that patients admitted in observation status are in the hospital for less than 24 hours, our floor can be fast-paced.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
