Description

The Pharmacy Technician 1 is accountable for assisting pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation and distribution of medications for patient administration.
These activities include but are not limited to patient specific medications; floor stock pharmaceuticals; controlled substances; and other defined systems.
Pharmacy Technician 1 encompasses Pharmacy Technicians working in the retail environment.
All assigned activities are performed under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager.
Essential Duties:
- Accurate preparation of patient medications.
- Accurate and timely delivery of patient specific medications.
- Inventories, replenishes, and maintains drug stock.
- Assist the Pharmacist with medication, patient care related issues.
