Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Section Head Pathology Clinical Microbiology position is to provide technical supervision and administration of assigned unit, under the direction of the Chief Technologist/Director. Assists in the development and implementation of Policies and Operating Guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant science plus three (3) years of laboratory experience in the discipline for which applying, including, but not limited to, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, molecular procedures and/or blood bank/transfusion medicine. Certification as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent credentials.

Credential required: Certified Medical Technologist
