Under the direction of the Senior Project Manager and Supervisor Maintenance & Construction, performs a variety of maintenance repairs and installation/replacement of fixtures including: supply systems, DWV system, plumbing, heating and steam fixtures/equipment. Assists in the work direction of other mechanics and trades helpers.
Technical school diploma or an equivalent level of knowledge plus five (5) years of experience in the operation, maintenance and installation of HVAC/R equipment, in an industrial, education and/or healthcare setting. Sound knowledge of blue print and schematic reading is required, as is thorough knowledge of all applicable (local, state and national) codes. Valid Driver’s License is required. Minimum requirement of Type II, EPA Certificate, 40-CFR, Part 82, Subpart F.
