Position Summary
The University Minister for Service and Justice promotes the University’s Catholic, Jesuit and Mercy mission by working collaboratively to create opportunities for service, immersion, reflection, social justice and advocacy. This position engages students in today’s social problems and in becoming agents of social transformation. The University Minister is to be a model of faith in action that encourages students to know, love and serve God and one another.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree (M. A.) or equivalent in Theology, Pastoral Studies, Divinity, Social Justice or related field; at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 25 lbs. to do manual labor projects, and travel long distances.
Work Environment
Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.
Licenses/Certifications
A valid motor vehicle license is required and the ability to drive a 12-passenger van.
