Overview:
We are looking for a part time APRN (8-10 hours per week initially) to help us continue with regenerative medicine procedures (PRP and Wharton's Jelly/stem cell injections), along with implementing medically supervised weight loss with semaglutide/tirzepatide. We also are looking to add IV nutritional therapy to practice in the near future. Joint injection experience is a plus, but training may be provided if necessary. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients across various age groups and medical specialties. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Provide joint injections PRP, Whartons Jelly (stem cell), trigger point injections, iv therapy and medical weight-loss injections.
- Provide advanced nursing care in areas such as pain management, health coaching, family care, senior care, and geriatrics
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic medical records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in nursing practice and participate in ongoing professional development activities
Requirements:
- Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in [FLORIDA]
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Certified independent status as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Ability to draw blood
- Ability to inject joints
- Proven experience in providing advanced nursing care across various medical specialties
- Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and evidence-based practice guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
