UNIVERSIDAD AUTONOMA DE GUADALAJARA is Hiring a Recruiter/Admissions Counselor Near San Antonio, TX

Job Summary: Identifies, recruits, and contributes to increasing the population of admitted and enrolled students in UAG School of Medicine International Program, according to the mission goals and policies of the school.

Responsibilities:

· Participates in graduate fairs, college visits, and special events to identify and recruit prospective students who align with the mission goals and policies of the UAG School of Medicine International Program. 

· Advise prospective students by providing information and guidance regarding the application process, academic requirements, and program offerings via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

· Manages an assigned geographic territory including contacts, accounts, associations, and other areas across the country through the management of data through the customer relations management (CRM) system.

· Cultivates working relationships with health professions advisors, faculty, administrators, and student organizations to provide admission requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.

· Participates in strategic planning, assessment, and recruitment planning to implement recruitment activities such as workshops, information sessions, webinars, and other recruitment projects.

· Provides follow-up reports regarding activities and future plans.

· Keep accurate records and follow organizational policy to maximize business opportunities.

· Demonstrate strong team relationships by working collaboratively with their team and other departments.

· Demonstrates UAG core values: Integrity, Excellence, Inclusiveness, Respect, Collaboration, and Innovation.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

Associate degree/Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Work cooperatively with others.
  • Personal computer and standard office equipment, Zoom, TEAMS, and other video communication tools.

*Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Office work environment.
  • Extensive travel required including evening, overnight, and weekend.
  • Some physical effort is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $37,000.00 per year
