Job Summary:  The Tennis Professional/Fitness Professional is responsible for providing excellent service as defined by the company by arriving on time for drills, lessons, meetings etc. This position will be responsible for tournament coaching and leading training sessions according to schedule. This is located in the Decatur area, near Agnes Scott College, and you will be conducting morning and afternoon drills Monday thru Saturday.

What You’ll Do:

  • Scheduling/Planning/Communicating/Receiving Payments/Follow-up
  • Responsible for Tournament Coaching
  • Building and fostering relationships with team captains, site coaches and other key facility personnel
  • Managing customer expectations and escalating issues appropriately to the Partner.
  • Maintain current knowledge of programs and events
  • Actively manage own knowledge and skills to meet task productivity and quality standards
  • Meet regularly with site Partner(s) or representative to discuss the status of urgent business need and/or implementation of new procedures
  • Identify customer service and process improvements
  • Project a professional work ethic at all times through appearance, work habits and attention to detail
  • Project a professional appearance with appropriate attire
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Education and experience to be determined by site partner on a case to case basis
  • Must maintain current liability insurance with USPTA,USPTR or other entity
  • Ability to multitask and organize daily workflow on and off the courts
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple customers on and off the courts
  • Able to quickly assimilate and retain new information
  • Ability to recognize and diffuse conflict
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent tennis fundamentals
