We are looking for an experienced officer to fill a PART-TIME position at one of our churches downtown. The schedule is Sundays 8AM-3:30PM, Mon-Thurs 6PM-10PM. Total of 23.50 hours per week at $17 an hour. MUST have a PERC card, 20-hour security training certificate, state ID/DL, social security card, and high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a secure and safe environment
- Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols
- Respond to alarms and incidents, investigate disturbances, and provide emergency assistance as needed
- Monitor surveillance cameras and other security equipment to ensure the safety of the premises
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Skills:
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Experience in surveillance techniques and monitoring suspicious activities
- Military experience or relevant certifications in security are a plus
