Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Dover Behavioral Health System is a 104-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Dover, Delaware area. Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. We are seeking Temporary RN's to fulfill a 3 month temporary assignment (w/ possibility of extension up to 6 months). For this role, a Full time 40-hour per week status is required.

Shift Availability:

• 3pm - 11pm with Every other Weekend Rotation
• 11pm-7am with Every other Weekend Rotation

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in nursing field development aligned with facility philosophy and standards
• Plan, provide, and evaluate patient care through quality Nursing Assessments
• Document observations, treatments, interventions, and patient responses as per policy
• Assign Patient Observation Rounds and duties for each shift; ensure staff compliance and completion
• Review Patient Observation Round sheets for accuracy and completeness twice per shift
• Serve as a leader and role model for patients and hospital staff; maintain therapeutic milieu

Minimum:

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Delaware

Preferred:

• Current BLS certification
• Relevant nursing experience in behavioral health
