We are currently seeking a full-time Financial Counselor. The Financial Counselor is responsible for balancing patients' comfort and needs with the facility's operating needs and financial goals. The Financial Counselor functions in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Parkwood Behavioral Health System. The Financial Counselor must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the department and hospital.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.

Experience:

Three or more years of general accounting/collection experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of collections, general accounting and working with computer systems are required.
