The Behavioral Health Milieu Manager will work among the multidisciplinary team with focus on providing oversight of the therapeutic milieu in all areas of the hospital. The Behavioral Health Milieu Manager will serve as the unit Patient Advocate, responsible for in-house patient complaints and grievances, including but not limited to: timely verbal/written response along with serving as the Chairperson of the Grievance Committee. This is position requires accurate and timely data entry of performance improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction surveys and complaints/grievances.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, graduate from an accredited program or university in a psychology, social work, counseling, and healthcare related field. (Master's Degree preferred)

Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 4 years' of behavioral health experience or Master's Degree with two 2 years' behavioral health experience.

Licensure: ASW, AMFT, APCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC (preferred)

Additional Requirements: Experience with inpatient/outpatient psychiatric/mental health setting with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques, demonstrated understanding of mental illness and related behavioral management techniques required. Experience in the development of therapeutic programs targeted for special population preferred. Knowledge of Patient Rights standards. Position must successfully complete the Sierra Vista Hospital's non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and verbal de-escalation training courses within 90 days of employment, prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures and annually.
