Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Type: Nights

Shift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Weekly Hours: 36 hours (Three 12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, developing and updating care plans in collaboration with patients.
• Provide and direct nursing care, evaluating outcomes.
• Use technology appropriately, adhering to safety standards and infection prevention measures.
• Follow evidence-based tools, policies, procedures, and standards of care and practice.
• Educate patients and family members, documenting accordingly.
• Report actual or potential occurrences according to Oaklawn Hospital procedures.
• Engage in self-assessment, peer review, mandatory education, competency assessments, and ongoing professional development.
• Participate in unit-based performance improvement activities and staff meetings, supporting change.
• Behave in accordance with Oaklawn Hospital’s mission, vision, values, Nursing’s vision, philosophy, ANA’s Code of Nursing Ethics, and Relationship-Based Care tenets.
• Practice in accordance with the legal definition of nursing in the State of Michigan, including provisions on delegation and supervision.

Submission Requirements:

• 2 years of Med Surg experience - Required

Certification Requirements:

• BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements:

• Michigan (MI license must be active upon submission)

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
