Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Location: Sault St. Marie, MI

Pay Range: $55-60/hr

Duration: 13 Weeks

Hours/Day: 12

Shift Notes:

• 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (12 Hour Nights)
• No Call
• Every Other Weekend
• Float to ER and/or ICU (36 Hour Guarantee)
• Weekend Requirements: Every 4th Weekend

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
• Take call and respond in a timely manner.
• Serve as a role model for exhibiting the Behavioral Standards and Customer Service expectations of War Memorial Hospital.
• Float between ICU and Med/Surg units as C1 or C2 RN.

Submission Requirements:

• 2 years of experience - Required
• Pediatric Experience - Required
• Comfortable floating to ICU and/or ER - Required

• Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 100-mile radius restriction)
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms (taken within the last two years)

Certification Requirements:

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements:

• Michigan
