Job Summary:

We are looking for a collaborative and talented analytical chemist to join our analytical department at Adesis. The successful candidate will perform analysis to characterize pharmaceutical and OLED starting materials, intermediates, and final compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze samples using the following techniques: HPLC/MS, UPLC/MS, Chiral LC, NMR, GC/MS, GC (headspace and direct injection), KF, IR, X-ray and laser diffraction, DSC, TGA
  • Process data and compile analytical data packages to prepare and review analytical reports to ensure material suitability in OLED device R&D
  • Work closely with R&D teams to develop innovative approaches to address specific challenges in sample analysis and structural determination
  • Author and review SOPs, test methods, protocols, and reports
  • Store and archive analytical data according to company procedures
  • Perform instrument maintenance, repair and calibration activities as needed
  • Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Additional applicable responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Chemistry, life sciences, or equivalent related experience.
  • Previous experience with liquid chromatography highly preferred
  • Familiarity with computerized lab systems such as ELN, Chromatography data systems (CDS) and LIMS a plus
  • Ability to rapidly learn and eventually gain expertise in the fine details of instrument hardware and software, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with strong collaboration and organizational skills able to work in a fast paced-environment
  • Detail oriented to ensure accuracy of information used in cutting edge research.
