Universal Civil Construction is Hiring a General Construction Laborer Near Irmo, SC

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our Highway Division team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist with various tasks on our project sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. We are seeking a dependable candidate with strong work ethic and a desire to work outdoors. Interested candidates may be trained onsite.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools as directed
- Perform general construction tasks, such as digging trenches, laying pipe, placing fabric, etc.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment

Please note that this position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions.
