Universal Asset Management is Hiring a DIRECTOR OF DISASSEMBLY OPERATIONS Near Tupelo, MS

Description & Responsibilities:
The Director, Disassembly Operations is the “right hand” of the General Manager. He/she should expect to perform a variety of roles in support of the overall operations of the disassembly facility, as well as to be a leadership back-up in the General Manager’s absence. 
The Director plays an important supporting role in development of the business. In addition to supporting physical operations, the Director will have oversight in disassembly project quality and efficiency, shipping operations, as well as other plans and strategies, as assigned by the Director.
The Director will assist in setting strategic finance goals, budgets and targets for the disassembly facility, overseeing all systems activity, and ensuring that efficient and effective use is made of available resources to achieve maximum profitability of UAM.
The Director will have duties in budgeting, operations management, personnel development, aircraft management, operational and technical decision making, and strategic growth planning. He/she should also take proactive steps to develop these skills even further within this role. 
The Director, Disassembly Operations will support the General Manager in formulating policy, plan the use of materials and human resources, while driving safety and efficiency within the company. 
Duties:
  • Support the implementation of short and long term programs and processes to optimize work flow. Participate in the budget and plan for technology improvements and required future efficiency needs.
  • Assist the General Manager in the review of plans to control budget spending, labor efficiency, and material efficiency, new areas of technology and customer service efficiency.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by General Manager to ensure his/her facility is in conformance with OSHA and all industry, local, state and federal regulations.
  • Implement and drive UAM AFRA, ASA, and Hazmat programs.
  • Manage local community relationships, as assigned by General Manager, to improve the communities which UAM is located and maintain strong, positive corporate presence.
  • Champion the UAM brand values, people values, community initiatives, demonstrating the vision for others, and acting as a role model both within UAM and externally.
  • Understanding 14 CFR PART 145 regulations & 145 CFR certifications
