Compensation: $19.25 per hour

Please consider applying for this position when you are in your last semester of the Surgical Technologist program or within 3-4 months of graduation from the Surgical Technologist program. The Surgical Technologist performs as a member of surgical team providing technical patient care and hands-on expertise in the handling of surgical instruments and equipment during routine and emergency cases. Assembles and prepares equipment, instruments, and supplies for all specialties using surgeon preference cards as a reference. Sets up and maintains sterile field while anticipating and responding to the surgeon’s intra-operative needs. Functions as 2nd assistant during surgical procedure. Understands and maintains current knowledge and practice of hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications:
Must be a current student in an approved Surgical Technologist program
