UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting a Pulmonologist to join our practice in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

• Current providers: 1 Physician and 1 Advanced Practitioner

• Open to hiring a Physician who wants 100% outpatient clinic or a mix of outpatient and critical care
• Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well
• Onsite services include: Pulmonary Function Testing, Sleep Studies, Radiology, Labs, Etc.
• Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
• Flexible scheduling which allows a quality Work Life Balance

• Flexible practice models to accommodate new physician’s preferences:
  • Option 1: 100% outpatient clinic
  • Option 2: mix of outpatient medicine and critical care
• Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm
• Average of 22-25 patients per day
• Outpatient call - telephonic only, triaged via My Nurse Call System: very minimal call volume
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonology/Critical Care
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
