The Foundation President has responsibility for all operations of the Foundation including fundraising, events and resource development and board development.Additionally, the Foundation President has oversite responsibilities for Volunteer and Auxiliary Services.

• Responsible for development of strategy and planning for philanthropy, including donor relationships. Operational priorities as defined by UnityPoint Health-DM senior leadership will be considered when defining strategy and planning
• Collaborate with Foundation board to generate leads for future donors
• Assures that the philosophy and mission of UnityPoint Health - DM is visual in the performance of duties. Communicates and promotes a strong commitment to this mission
• Assures that all internal and external reports are accurate and timely
• Serves on the senior administrative staff of UnityPoint Health -- DM
• Represents UnityPoint Health with appropriate community, state, and national organizations
• Drive efficiencies through collaboration with UPH Center of Philanthropic Excellence
• Promote and participate in best practice sharing between all UPH Foundations
• Responsible for conducting regional fund-raising events throughout the calendar year

Education: Bachelor degree required, Masters or MBA preferred

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of resource development and fundraising experience, preferably in healthcare. Candidate should have demonstrated experience and participation in community and professional organization and activities.
