Responsibilities- Works closely with patients and provides them with basic, immediate care and comfort needs such as obtaining vitals like temperature, blood pressure, and heart/respiratory rate.
- Cleaning/changing bed sheets, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.
- Spend time with patients, apart from the nurses themselves and build true emotional connections with patients.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Successful completion and documentation of one of the following:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and waiting for NCLEX re-examination.
- Certified Nursing Assistant listed as either Active or Inactive on any state health care registry.
- EMT-B licensure
- Medical Assistant
- Must be enrolled in Trinity’s PCT on the job training program and successfully complete.
- Successful completion of first semester of nursing school that includes Nursing Fundamentals.
- Completion of CAN course within the previous 12 months.
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
- Area of Interest: Nursing Aides, Assistants, and Techs;
- FTE/Hours per pay period: 0.01;
