Responsibilities
  • Works closely with patients and provides them with basic, immediate care and comfort needs such as obtaining vitals like temperature, blood pressure, and heart/respiratory rate.
  • Cleaning/changing bed sheets, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.
  • Spend time with patients, apart from the nurses themselves and build true emotional connections with patients.
Qualifications

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Successful completion and documentation of one of the following:
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and waiting for NCLEX re-examination.
    • Certified Nursing Assistant listed as either Active or Inactive on any state health care registry.
    • EMT-B licensure
    • Medical Assistant
    • Must be enrolled in Trinity’s PCT on the job training program and successfully complete.
    • Successful completion of first semester of nursing school that includes Nursing Fundamentals.
    • Completion of CAN course within the previous 12 months.
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Area of Interest: Nursing Aides, Assistants, and Techs;
  • FTE/Hours per pay period: 0.01;
